Inglorious Revolution

The Inglorious Revolution was a failed revolt led by Tomoko to limit the Breshikan kings' power and to transform the country into a constitutional monarchy.

On the 26th of March, a rift in space-time destroyed half of Nova Bydlograd. King Shakomatic of Breshik was sucked into the vortex and disappeared forever. Powerful wizards converged to try and repair the damage, and after an hour the time paradox had stabilised and Nova Bydlograd was restored, btut he king remained gone.

Sidmarcus01 grieved for his liege, but the looming threat of foreign-backed throne pretenders destabilising the country forced him to quickly establish a regency, as per his duties. He named Tomoko and P_P_A his advisers and set forth to consolidate the famine-stricken nation.

The following night King Shakomatic miraculously returned from the eternal void. When he discovered the reforms Sidmarcus01 had enacted, he took it for treason, and ordered Tomoko to arrest the regent. Tomoko refused to comply with his orders, for which he was promptly declared a traitor as well and executed on the spot. Shakomatic proceeded to declare war on his own regency council and went into hiding in his capital after being smuggled out of it.

The next day Regent Sid came online, and learned of the events that had taken place. Not wanting to agitate his clearly distressed king, he decided to pretend that nothing happened and everything would go back to normal. Tomoko however was worried for the future of the kingdom under the unstable King Shakomatic, and still felt the pain of his being lynched for treason.

Tomoko decided that King Shakomatic was unfit to rule, and confronted him demanding a constitutional reform of the kingdom. A skirmish ensued between the two and Breshikan citizen Austrobernd who rushed to protect his king. Tomoko was beaten back, but returned with better gear and inflicted heavy casualties among the king and his retinue. Eventually he was overwhelmed.

At this point, P_P_A reluctantly offered his services as a mercenary, but never made true on it. BlakkCooper arrived in the city because he'd heard the sounds of battle, and readily offered his services to Tomoko as an excuse to kill people – which he did indeed. He wreaked havoc among the Breshikans, even as reinforcements arrived from Winterlyn.
