i quit

I'm thoroughly confused as to how the entire integrity of the server has manage to collapse so quickly. With caBst now the owner of everything, it would make sense to entirely abolish the “nation” concept that we've been using the original batt.x riots. I understand that this may not be a popular opinion, but with YugoTexas and caBst battling over the small tracts of land allotted to us until 1.9 (which is never coming out) it simply isn't a feasible way of playing anymore. This is now a Coenstadt and WR controlled server, but we weren't supposed to be under anyone's hegemony, we were supposed to be equals. I am no longer a world leader. My lands were sold to Coenstadt by a bunch of Americans who no longer play and do not understand the consequences of such acts, and one of my pet projects, the Common Empire that I forged with Rosenmann is gone, and with it my legitimacy as a nation. I will most likely continue to play, but I no longer accept the authority of any so-called “nation”. I am a rich nomad who will build a little hut with an intricate mine. — Chris 2011/11/01 02:39 Join Uganda, where the only ones causing drama are finns and turks. -tangaloa vladimirr 2011/11/01 21:43

You're suposed to take it back, to develop an actual political situation. I'm amazed you actually have the brains to think thorugh this whole statement but not enough brains to pull out the guts and take back what you would consider yours. Same with you v1adimirr. You went from a patriot American to a French (not only because you quoted a French faggot King but because you're surrendering too). Man up, open your minds. And Coenstad doesn't own shit. I do. Suck My dick.
caBastard 2011/11/01 04:46 Being bored with running the minecraft universe = surrendering infa1488% I can't take anything back. You've made sure of that. If I declared Battkhortostan a nation again you would just say NOPELOL NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE which is true or NOPE NO LAND which is not true. Tanga, I may take you up on your Uganda offer assuming it isn't ruled by WR anytime soon. Vlad, we should finish fort kickass and live there. — Chris 2011/11/01 05:29

Just get new people. It would be unfair for you to declare Batt.x a nation out of nowhere just because it existed in the old map. Both Kurwa and WR worked hard to get enough people and get the official nation status. And Uganda is a WR Dependency. — caBastard 2011/11/01 05:50 →kurwa working hard to get enough people - uwotm8. Yes chris, when 1.9 comes out we're finishing fort kickass. Tang too. Personally something like that ninja fortress in the beginning of batman begins on top of a snowy mountain would be baller I think, but that's just my idea. -vlad Vlad you pussy. — caBastard 2011/11/01 06:07 lolwhyyoumadtho.jpg -vlad

1.9 has been canceled, why the fuck have a majority of all of you decided to quit until it is released, is snow really that important? Also Alpha already said he isn't going to enforce the 1000×1000 rule against settlements or nations Meanwhile why the fuck have you allowed the faggot master called Cabastard to take all your land and disloved the mightiest nation to ever rule this server? —YugoTexas, Jyīoɯ̅ecκac Also why the fuck is the threshold for nationhood 20? It is supposed to be 10 —YugoTexas, Jyīoɯ̅ecκac

> 1.9 has been canceled 1.9 is just a random number… What they say is that they wait for the next release. It does not matter if it is called 1.9 or 2.5.6.3.1. > why the fuck have you allowed the faggot master called Cabastard to take all your land To make that clear cabst is just the interim ruler of most of those lands. When someone steps up to administer all that land I am happy to transfer the power. — AlphaBernd 2011/11/01 08:38

lol faggot master. and i want to build really fucking far away so i dont want to be a douche and expand the map that much yugo, ill just wait for the next release, its all good. and for the sake of my and ca's reputations, legendary and bothersome respectively, i dont know what happened with rosen, but i would like to make the following formal statement regarding my current absence and my future role on the server:

=====V1adimirr's Self-Indulgent Farewell======
On April 19, 2011, I, v1adimirr, embarked on the 15 minute walk from Berndtown to Kurwa Village for the first time. There were seven other residents living there and I built my humble home on the outskirts of the hamlet. Shortly thereafter I and three others were elected by our peers to reside over the village. Two of these would soon leave, but not before Kurwa Village grew into Kurwa Town and could boast a population of over 30 people- the largest by far on the server. Kurwa Town soon became the City-State of Kurwa and the City-State of Kurwa soon became Kurwa Province and Kurwa Province soon became the Nation of Kurwa and the Nation of Kurwa soon became the Kurwan Empire. By the end of 1.7, the Kurwan Empire held within it well over 200 houses with over 150 confirmed unique citizens. At its height, Kurwa had a standing army, excluding conscripts, the same size as the entirely of the next largest nation. During much, if not most, of Kurwa's time, I held sole control over the state. Under my leadership, Kurwa Village, a cozy village of a few cottages at the end of the map, grew fifteen-fold in population and fifteen-hundred fold in territory, becoming the lone superpower and central topic of the server. While I acknowledge a select few may also consider themselves deserving of the achievement, by the end of 1.7 I had unequivocally won Minecraft.

The new map initially held many possibilities for the expansion and rebirth of the Kurwan Empire, but the news of a clean start, though sad, relieved me. Ruling the world proved challenging and I believed it was time for a new beginning; a new chapter. I set out to find a suitable plot for my new village: Nova Kurwa. Though some have mistaken this title to be a pathetic attempt to recruit new citizens based on the deserved glory of its namesake, Nova Kurwa was, in fact, named so after Kurwa Village. Nova Kurwa was to be a bastion of cozy in an inevitably shitty world. For a time Nova Kurwa succeeded in this aspect and, through a little work, was deserving of the title. However, despite the purposeful lack of overt recruitment, Nova Kurwa quickly began to grow and soon became the first town to qualify for nation-status on the server.

I now stand at a crossroads. Nova Kurwa could easily continue down its current trajectory, following the same path that Kurwa Village did, with me as its sole leader. It will inevitably become another superpower, rule over the server uncontested, and be a glorious achievement for all mankind to admire. Many players may want that, but I've decided I don't. I've decided I have been down that road before. It was difficult, it was frustrating, it was wonderful, and it is over. I entered a map of cobblestone and left it a map of smoothstone slabs.

I have no further need to engage in politics with 12 year olds, for I no longer have any stake in the rise or fall of nations. I have no further need to subject myself to the cacophony of butthurt that is war, for I no longer have anything to protect or conquer. I have no further need to micromanage shitbuilding across half of the server, for I no longer am responsible for other people's mistakes. I have nothing more to prove and no higher asperations. I have already won Minecraft.

When Minecraft is finally released I intend to travel far, far away and build a home for myself in the snow-peaked mountains. I will act only as a wise, old säge, offering advice to anyone who seeks it. I will give up any stake in politics and will act impartially. Any pilgrim who wishes to build a home near me is welcome to, but I will refuse any form of government. It will be sanctuary of creativity, solitude, maturity, and peace. So, as my final act as leader of the Kurwas, both Nova and Empire, and of the server, I relinquish any political holdings I have to the history books, leaving the nation of Nova Kurwa in the capable and loyal hands of FordTempo, should he desire it.

Feel with it, nerds. Vlad out.
I will then build next to you and claim your land in the name of West Rhodes. — caBastard 2011/11/02 04:25 caBst confirmed for 12 year old. — mazznoff 2011/11/04 12:58

So much drama, so much butthurt — Sikandar 2011/12/11 07:11

Yo. I'd like to add my word about this, sorry for being such slowpoke, but such things cannot go without MY commentary. \\I a gree with Chris and with V1ad in most parts.
It's sad to see certain random Nicaraguan to claim legacy of things he doesn't have rights to, especially after his 9001 insults/statements when he said that he doesn't want to do anything with kurwa anymore.
It's sad to see that there is no barriers that stop the hate which drive people mad and make them do things that they don't want to do ( me included ).
It's sad too see that nation/politics system, that I contributed to, which I used to enjoy and spend countless hours on is ridiculously overused or negated.
I don't know if I should regret abandoning the server in november. \\On one hand, I was given chance to work on my own projects, finding gf, making friends, to gain proper perspective on things.
I failed to restore my position as a mod, it was sad to meet such coldness from te3, especially after reading quite positive article about him. I really contributed much to make ordnung on server. Of course, You can say that I don't deserve enough, and there are better mods who do they job well - I won't get butthurt for that. I still feel that modship is my place, because whenever if you like it or not, I am irrevocable part of this server.

\\V1ad: It's funny, that independently I came to the same conclusion as you. I admit that you were governing kurwa longer than me, and you did well in tough times when I was gone. It was fun to manage life and growth of Kurwa. I was the witness and participant of birth of Kurwa, birth of Kurwa Nation, Kurwa Empire, Nowa Kurwa and Common Empire. I participated in every important server even except June Riots ( that were partially caused because of my absence! ) I spent countless hours on negotiating, plotting, convincing, managing and planning (building wasn't my best point, although I have some quality contributions too) that resulted in biggest city, nation and political power that was ever made ( and will ever be ).
It's because Kurwa was the town that almost everyone had their home in.
It's because Kurwa showed the direction, that everyone in the server followed.
Because there is hardly any player, who wouldn't want his town to be cozy as early kurwa, popular as mid-kurwa and glorious as late-kurwa.
Therefore, I consider myself as man who became a Legend, a man who managed to win Minecraft.

\\Current stuff: After coming back, I don't feel playing mainstream politics. I decided to join GAM and try to contribute and have some fun in little isolationistic nation bunch with roleplay focus. And some srs bsnss. We'll see what future will bring. I hope it will bring better shit than future used to do.
