The Kingdom of the North Kurwa Free State (also known as North Kurwa alternatively Nordkurwa) is an independent sovereign state landlocked in the Kurwan City State. Probably the first Constitutional Monarchy and one of the first nations in the history of the server, North Kurwa has had a long struggle against the oppression from it's only neighbour, the Kurwan Empire.

North Kurwa was founded a few weeks after the city of Kurwa was founded. After being invited to move in, caBastard showed up in the city of Kurwa just to find out that what was considered the city proper had already ran out of living space. Despite the disappointment, caBastard put himself to work and started fixing the terrain north of Kurwa to build his house. He noticed that the grass was greener on his cide of the city so he built an entrance to announce that “the grass is greener in North Kurwa”, being the first usage of the name and the birth of the Nordkurwan nation.

Soon enough, many people followed caBastard and North Kurwa started to thrive. After seeing the growth in the area and caBastard's leadership, the Council of Kurwa decided to divide the city in two districts: North Kurwa and South Kurwa, but due to the bad connotations the word South carries with it, the council renamed South Kurwa to Old Kurwa in a more elitist fashion. Nordkurwans were highly discriminated for not being as old as Southkurwans despite the fact that North Kurwa was better decorated and more active. Soon enough the Council created East Kurwa as an attempt to attract newcomers away from North Kurwa in order to halt its growth. Their effort was worthless for East Kurwa was a bunch of sand whereas North Kurwa was beautifully decorated with pines, trees and flowers.

The Kurwan City Hall was built by caBastard in southeast side of the North Kurwa district. It was soon declared a new district of its own by the Council as the idea of having the heart of their power located in a “inferior” district was not acceptable in their belittling elitist minds. Nordkurwans never accepted this schism. North Kurwa kept growing northwards, it raised its own flag to distinct itself from all other districts and soon declared its independence, a few weeks after it was founded. The warmongering Old Kurwans militarily seized southeast North Kurwa, calling it “Government District” and the northwest of North Kurwa was also annexed with military might under the excuse of increasing their living space, thus creating the so called “Eisen Kurwa”.

To this date, after two maps, North Kurwa -despite having nearly 50% of its original territories taken from it- remains the biggest former district in Kurwa, both in size and population.

North Kurwa is located in a forest biome north of Downtown Kurwa City, the Kurwan Sea is on its West and the territories under reclamation of Eisen and the G.D. to its East. The real border of North Kurwa expands further East, bordering what is roughly considered Outer Kurwa.

Unlike all other districts, North Kurwa never resorted to building huge eye-catching structures because it never had to compensate over a small dick ugly terrain and low population.

North Kurwa is a Constitutional Monarchy. The Head of State is King AlphaBernd and the Head of Government is caBastard. The Nordkurwan judicial and legislative system is based on the Kurwanian System of Law, named after Kurwa.

North Kurwa was founded on the principles of King, Law and Liberty, unlike its parent state which lived under oppressing authoritarianism and discriminatory law.

North Kurwa is home of what used to be the biggest market in Kurwa City. Tourism is its biggest economy sector.

Nordkurwans are a brave and defiant people. The pine tree is the national tree and the Old Kurwan the official nemesis. East Kurwans are fine because they're a bunch of peasants, Eisen Kurwans are brainwashed Nordkurwans in denial and the other districts might as well not exist.
