Last available in November 2012, Australia was a small survival map with no plugins, no mods, and no rules. The reason why it went offline was because no one played it. Essentially it was a place for players to play when they were banned from Autism, or wanted to let off steam by griefing the various penal colonies trying to eek out an existence.
Food was almost unknown, players would frequently starve to death only to be revived and be beaten to death. Nothing noble in the realm was left uncorrupted or standing. Denied the divine Grace of the Order of the Staff Australia knew little peace.

Much like the real Australia, nothing good ever came out of it.
The Future of Australia?
There has been some talk of reviving the sibling server any number of ways. Like filling it with spooky plugins, hosting a hardcore mode cooperative map, somehow retooling it into a battlezone for waring nations, running limited time events and competitions, among other things.
