Sabishi Treaty

The signatory littoral states & settlements of the Sea of Kijima hereby agree to the following terms:

A. Good Neighbourhood and Cooperation

I. The Parties permit each others' citizens free exploitation of their own fields and farms in and around the Sea of Kijima.
 1. Citizens are obliged to re-plant any plants they harvest, and to re-breed any animals they slaughter.
 2. The Duchy of Nieuw Walschor further permits the exploitation of any fields and farms in any of its settlements.

II. The Parties recognise the seabed of the Sea of Kijima as commons and may exploit its natural resources freely.

III. The Parties consult with their neighbours before undertaking any invasive terraforming or construction work in plain sight of another party's settlement in and around the Sea of Kijima.

IV. The Parties will maintain a railway network between their settlements in and around the Sea of Kijima.

V. The signatories are to ensure that any citizens of theirs respect the terms of this treaty.

B. Sabishi Treaty Organisation

The Parties consider it necessary for the safety of their cosiness and taste to exert a measure of control over the land surrounding the Sea of Kijima. The Sabishi Treaty Organisation (STO) will be created for this purpose upon the signing of this treaty.

I. The STO claims any land unsettled by the signing of this treaty between the coordinates of -320 X, -7880 Y and 733 X, -6651 Z.
 1. The STO derives its right to claim land from the nationhood of any nation(s) party to this treaty.
 2. The authority over the land claimed by the STO lies solely with the STO. The nation(s) whose nationhood is being used to claim that land has(have) no particular authority over it.
 3. The STO is an apolitical entity and does not possess nation status itself.

II. The Parties recognise the land claimed by the STO as commons and may exploit its natural resources freely.

III. The Parties may claim any portion of the land claimed by the STO for their own purposes.
 1. The authority over that land thereby passes to the settlement or nation making the claim.
 2. The Parties may only assume control over land claimed by the STO if they have concrete plans to develop it.

IV. The Parties may invite players not party to this treaty to settle on land claimed by the STO with the approval of the rulers of the settlements Izmorosjov, Kijima, and Noord Wortland.

V. The Parties will construct a series of walls styled after the Great Wall of China along the borders of the land claimed by the STO to solidify this claim and to deter squatters.
