I'm making a heading for me

  • Needs to address orders and guilds
  • Overt statements on limitations on national and settlement citizenship. It's potentially implied that a person can only join one nation at a time but what about dual citizenship? And on this current map players are listed for several settlements at a time, are there going to be any limits with this new system?
  • Settlements (and orders!) need to be addressed in the Rules of Engagement more, further defining both what they can do, and what can be done to them. Do they submit to the outlined laws save for being able to withdraw AND join without penalty? It seems like there would be a considerable advantage to that then if that is the case, simply joining in for a battle or raid then withdrawing into political sanctuary after.
  • Also, what about definitions for Nether, coastal, air-space, and underground territorial claims?
  • I petition for decorative/functional flames to be protected non-block entities as roll-backs may not fix them to my knowledge, and the flint and steel necessary to light them can be costly in large numbers. Additionally functional vines which may be used in place of ladders.
  • I petition that a caveat be added to protected non-block entities, that they may be destroyed within reason to gain entry into a territory. (say I made a fence around my land with no other way in other than breaking it)
  • That's all for now I guess :I

So I have a few questions:

def. e. “They withhold the power to judge supremely on any issue” then who does? And why should the owner of the server resign power over it, and shouldn't there be a ban against illegal content if he has to?

They withhold the power meaning they don't give it to anyone else

def. f. “destruction of blocks, entities in other players’ creations, buildings and/or supporting structures” What about immediate nature/guardens?

Will ammend to include property under the definition found in the union section

crim. 12. How is the mod suppoesd to know all this information? Especially ban history?

Previous bans, activity, political status, and amount of griefing should all be fairly obvious to a mod. The mod needn't know the exact day the player last logged in, but it is a name that he has never seen before vs. a name that he has known for years, that should be taken into consideration. Players who have been around and contributing for years should be given the benefit of the doubt and treated differently than someone who just joined the server and may or may not be trusted. These things do not necessarily need to be documented and calculated for each ban, but they are the guidelines that each member of the staff should follow and if they are unfamiliar with any of the above they should ask other mods/admins.

crim. 15. No question really, just some old rests from the old rule “in the language in english”

Olds rests? I don't understand.
English is has and should be the primary language of the server and all server documentation should be done in this language

aut. 25. Seems too harsh. Epsecially “may not extent beyond structures built by said settlement”. And is it political or non-political?

Changed to “not extend far beyond”
It is not political, unless it explicitely wishes to be, in which case it may decide to no longer be political at any time. Only nations are necessarily political.

aut. 30. It's uncelar if city-state is a required pre-sate to being a nation. This also seems to indicate that you can be forced into a nation, which contradicts admin law (4 & 6) — Bragzor 2013-03-02 00:11 UTC+1

They are parallel entities, one is political the other is not. The players can choose which to be.

Thank you for the clarification. What about the second part of the last question though? — Bragzor 2013-03-02 00:40 UTC+1

The players can choose if they want to be political or not (ie a nation or a city-state).

I want to add 39. If players had a moderator oversee their transaction, the creditor may ask the moderator to retrieve the items from the debtor upon default. The moderator may withdraw items from debtor's private chests in this case. It is preferred that players try to resolve the dispute between themselves first. — mazznoff 2013/03/02 15:09

Oh dog forced foreclosure :—DDD — Ranshiin 2013/03/02 16:17

Maybe we should write up seperate banking/economic/trade rules like the rules of engagement are seperate. It would be more neat and be easier to ammend. -vlad
