Mondsteinbergian Institute of Standardization is a government agency within Free State of Mondsteinberg, focused on creation, unification and systematization of various industrial standards, development of technical documentation and international standards as well.
The agency works not only with heavy industry, scientifical and technological research, but also with other fields of activity, such as building, light industry, food industry and so on.
Classification of Standards
The organization keeps a strict classification of existing standards, with each category corresponding to a certain field of activity.
- B (Bau) — normative and technical documents related to buildings and constructions, exploitation of building equipment and the construction process as a whole.
- SI (Schwerindustrie) — normative documents for heavy industry.
- E (Essen) — standards for food producing.
- S (Sicherheit) — standards for development and construction of safety and defense systems.
- G (Gesundheit) — normative documents related to the production and exploitation of medical equipment and standards made to ensure safety in usage and development of products made for humans and the environment.
