Part of a series on Battkhortostan

We will first spend time gathering a large amount of materials in order to claim land, at which point we will then rebuild Ashgabatt at the edge of the map cutoff and a SMALL surrounding village build a fucking mushroom village. The mushroom village's tentative name is Gribigrad. When 1.9 is released we will build our capital.

We will first form a small village and claim land for the capital, gathering resources at the village until we have a sizable amount for construction. Note that if Sikandar/Killer_Chris are banned these plans are void.

We will wait awhile after the release of the new map before establishing the nation physically. Gather materials and enjoy and experiment with the new content until then. Alpha has stated that the size of the town is somehow connected to how many resources you have, so we'll spend a few days (or possibly to 1.9) just gathering resources. The world will be limited in size till 1.9.

Note that the final version is due in 64 days from 9/15, 1.9 should hopefully be released before then. A good use of time until then is using creative mode to design and build new structures or other elements of the town, use the tools below to extract them (Schematic2Blueprint may or may not work), and rebuild them easily in-game with the large wealth of materials we should accrue. Perhaps as a compromise we will build a fort on the edge of the new world and expand our nations past that point when 1.9 is released.

Battkhortostan Resettlement Initiative

Battkhortostan will be moving wholly to the new map when it is released, with the likely destruction of the old Battkhortostan piece by piece as the new Battkhortostan is slowly rebuilt. This page will be used for planning and discussing the move and coordinating the elements of the new nation. Use the talk page for suggestions (ex. different districts) or edit this page for non-authoritative additions. This will be a long term project.

  • Gather supplies for the move, if necessary by tearing your current buildings in Battkhortostan down DO NOT TEAR DOWN YOUR OLD BUILDINGS. A map will be made available of the server before the new map is created, depending on which option is chosen we may or may not be allowed to bring materials from the old map. Choose option 1 if you want a clean map or option 2/3 if you want to bring materials from the old map over to the new one. Especially gather wood. There will be a completely new map, nothing from the old map will be brought over. Once on the new map we will scout for a remote location, build the village of Govnolinsk, and use it as a material depository and safe haven until enough materials have been gathered to build a grand capital. We will lay the foundations during this time.
  • Soon after 1.8 is released the mod team will be testing new seeds, and will eventually select one and release it before the new map is created. Use this time to locate decent territory, coordinate with other nations to plan borders which encourage interaction and provide worthy physical borders/battle grounds. Alpha will be choosing the seed at random. We may not build next to Kurwa given this new information. AlphaBernd may try to force building near spawn.
  • After a location is discovered and agreed upon but before the map is released, plan city district and structure placement for a more organized Battkhortostan.
  • Most worthwhile buildings will be moved to the new map, but reorganized into several districts. There will be at least 3-4 districts including a governmental district, industrial district, and a mixed residential/commercial district.

Government district

The governmental district will contain the following buildings from the old Battkhortostan:

  • Mysterious Kurwa townhall ripoff built after Sikandar left unless someone wants to build an original one.
  • Offices of the General People's Committee
  • Kurwan embassy and other embassies which pass standards
  • Monument of heroes (tentatively placed here, if better ideas come along we can move it somewhere else)

Industrial district

The industrial district will contain the following buildings from the old Battkhortostan

  • Warehouse/Battoboronexport
  • Communal Farm (possibly updated with water-piston autoharvester?)
  • The Cosy Yoba
  • A few homes
  • Any other industrial buildings that pass standards

In addition the industrial district will reserve space for piston-reed harvesting factories and a cosmetic piston-iron factory.

Residential/Commerical district

  • The residential/commercial district will feature some of the homes and businesses currently in Battkhortostan (ex. Kebabremovers Kebabshop chain in Battkhortostan).

The residential/commercial district will also feature new structures such as an additional inn or tavern.

New Villages

A number of new villages will be constructed, some smaller buildings from the old Battkhortostan will be allocated to these villages (ex. Sikandar's hovel, El Refugio) and some buildings planned but never built will also be included. Fort Ashgabatt will be moved to the new server, accompanied by the new villages Pizdipidorovsk and Yobagrad. Low priority until the capital is complete with an acceptable level of activity.

Transportation Network

The new Battkhortostan will feature a national minecart transit system, built perhaps around level 48, located under the streets of Novobattkhortsk and radiating out to outlying villages (taking care to follow the roads in order not to penetrate basements). An international rail will be located at level 12, to be pointed in the direction of Nova Kurwa. The tunnel for the international railway will also be used as the public mine.

To move our buildings to the new map we will first download a backup of the current map (completed by Sikandar), periodically use MCEdit to extract a schematic, and then use Schematic2Blueprint in order to give an easily followed plan, from which we will rebuild structures block by block. This can also be used to easily bring your structures from single player into multi-player, Battkhortstanis are encouraged to recreate any buildings of note and reasonable size from their single player games on the new map.

The process of rebuilding could be expedited with flying capabilities and diligent gathering of resources before the new map release. We may possibly also use the new creative mode should it be released this update with admin approval (but this is unlikely).
