A settlement/ghost-town in AlphaRealm made by Carluga, the <del>slave</del> good friend of [[people:kuroki_tomoko|Tomoko Kuroki]].

===== Timeline =====
  * 06/28/2015 [[treaties:tomoko-breshik|Established]] as a territory within [[nations:third_kingdom_of_kriegstein|Kriegstein]]. Carluga is made Duke. Territory renamed, formerly called South Tomokoland.
  * 07/23/2015 Expanded territory as a result of [[battles:war_of_liberation|Kriegstein’s War]].
  * 08/19/2015 Declared independence from Kriegstein.
  * 09/06/2015 Joined [[nations:com|the Eastern Commonwealth]] as an associated state.
  * 09/22/2015 Construction of new city begins.
  * 11/29/2015 Declared apolitical status.
  * 12/23/2015 Nobility of [[nations:citystates:hohenfels|Hohenfels]] seek asylum in Orcaella.
  * 03/27/2016 A cow is declared new ruler.

==== Declaration of apolitical status & regency ====
In late November 2015, despite Lord Carluga's will to continue his support for the defending side in the [[battles:2nd_com-ender_war|phony war of Ender aggression]], other matters caused him to declare Orcaella to be an apolitical settlement and no longer part of the Eastern Commonwealth. Carluga then departed for parts unknown for an undetermined time. Moo-moo the guard cow was left in charge as Regent of the realm. 

On Dec 24, [[nations:com:reichskrise|during some drama]], the Regent was moved from Novobydlograd to Orcaella for safety reasons, and now resides in the palace. 

In March 2016, Moo-moo the cow was declared new Monarch. Carluga left for coalportal land.

==== Orcath ====
The capital of the land. It is made up of a few districts.

===== Geography =====
The land mostly consists of a deforested Savanna biome with a few plateaus. Rivers to the north-east and south form a natural border. The south-west area contains some large hills and an [[https://map.dev-urandom.eu/#/1656/64/662/max/0/0|unfinished palace thing]] built by [[people:koinu|koinucian]].
