===== History =====

Shortly after the founding of Avence [[people:shakomatic:start|Shakomatic]] began planting this forest to surround his city and the nether temple he was building in the wilderness. Recently the Refuge has seen a Mongol settlment, destroying habitats where the wild animals played and lived. This fortress was removed by forces of the Breshikan crown and a warnign to the mongols was given to go through the proper channels to establish trade stations on the crowns lands.
===== Landmarks and Surroundings =====
The Monument to the Battle of [[settlements:fort_friendship|Friendship]] lies just south west of the Nether temple. The ranger station lies to the north of the Temple. Avence and a small fishing village lie to the south. The refuge is susrrounded on all sides by the Lugal river and the  Great Ocean.
