The Free Territory of Mombasa is the successor state of [[nations:oceania:new_rhodes:start|Dominion of New Rhodes Mombasa]] within the Rhodesian Confederation.

===== History =====
The F.T. Mombasa finds its roots in the failed nation-state project of The Dominion of New Rhodes-Mombasa. After becoming evident to the Lords that Mombasa was never going to become something good without a series of several reforms, caBst, through an Executive Royal Mandate dissolved the Dominion into two seperate states, both members of the Rhodesian Confederation. The first territory, The Free Territory of Mombasa became the official successor of the long inactive Dominion of New Rhodes-Mombasa, and the new Dominion of the Rhodesian Newfoundland became caBastard's personal lands, where he had work together with midriatic and OttoVonBistarck.

The same Royal Executive Mandate dissolved the House of Commons of Mombasa, granting the power of governance to a new legal entity, the **Mombasa Free Territory Corporation Limited**.

The Mombasa Free Territory was granted the following provinces from its predecessor state:

After the **Executive Royal Mandate for Mombasa** was put in place, the democratic based Commons of Mombasa was dissolved and the government power was given to the **Mombasa Free Territory Co. Rumor has it some mysterious Brazilian-Rhodesians still dwell in Mombasa City. Some of New Rhodes original inhabitants still play in the server, though outside of New Rhodes due to its unfortunate fate.
